FA Student Support & Wellness
We strive to meet the needs of the whole student both academically and personally, with health and nutritional services, one-on-one support, and more.
Health
Services
From acute to long-term healthcare needs, our onsite nurse coordinates health services for all students and is available for drop-in care throughout the school day. In collaboration with our school physician, our nurse can help with physical exams and other health-related questions. Our campus is also less than a mile away from a regional hospital and a 15 minute drive from two major health clinics.
Personalized
Guidance
By getting to know every student’s unique aspirations, strengths, and areas of needed growth, our team of school counselors are able to provide extensive, highly personalized. Our counselors also help connect students to a range of community resources like job shadowing and internship opportunities, college visits, and personal counseling and therapeutic services.
Small Group
Advisory Program
Our small group advisory program helps students make meaningful connections with both peers and adults by exploring and discussing current local and global points of interest, with a focus on study skills, grade breakdowns, and career exploration. Advisors play an integral role in schedule development, portfolio creation, and presentation.Athletic
Trainer
Food
Services
Our dedicated food services team ensures that all students have access to nutritious, balanced meals and options that accommodate all dietary needs. Our cafeteria is located in the main school building, where our team serves three meals per day on school days, and two meals per day on weekends and holidays.
Tutoring
Services
If you need a tutor, we'll work diligently to find the right match from our pool of student volunteers for one-on-one academic support. Students who volunteer as tutors in this program can earn community service hours for their time.
