Foxcroft Academy Athletic Facilities

Jim Robinson Field House: In May 2021, FA broke ground on the Jim Robinson Field House, and it opened to the public on August 5, 2022. It provides a state of the art training and practice space for virtually all our FA athletic teams and the surrounding community.

Pisquataquis County YMCA: Located less than a mile from campus, the Piscataquis Regional YMCA is home to the Foxcroft Academy Swim Team.

Oakes Field: One of the crown jewels of campus, Oakes Field is known state wide as one of the best natural grass football fields in Maine. Surrounding the field is an eight lane track, complete with jump pits, pole vault, and throwing areas.

Burns-Johnson Tennis Court Complex: Our tennis teams practice and compete on the newly-renovated Burns-Johnson Tennis Complex, adjacent to campus. Renovated in 2012, the complex consists of four courts and is just across the street from the main academic building.

Foxcroft Academy Gymnasium: Our main gymnasium was completed in 1961, nine years after the current main building opened on campus. The gym is home to many Foxcroft Academy teams, and decorated with our championship banners. We’re more than a little bit proud of the Pony athletic tradition.

Foxcroft Golf Club: Our golf team’s home course is just 3 miles from campus. The 9-hole par 36 course is challenging yet fun for all types of golfers, and equipped with a pro shop, kitchen and a beautiful deck so you may watch your fellow golfers or just take in the country scenery. Learn More
