Field Hockey at Foxcroft Academy
As one of our signature athletic programs, the Foxcroft Academy field hockey team is a perennial playoff program that is rich in history and tradition. Up until this season, longtime coach and Foxcroft Academy Hall of Fame member Gene Philpot and former coach, Stephanie Smith ‘88, had been the only two coaches in the last 44 years of the program. Over that time, they’ve led FA teams to capture the 1991, 2007, 2013, and 2019 state championships. Head coach, Davan Clawson Walker '00 took over the program in 2022 and looks to keep the winning tradition alive and well!

FACTS:
Foxcroft Academy's field hockey team has won four state championships. The most recent title came in 2019 under the mentorship of Stephanie Smith, an outstanding Pony field hockey player in her own right and a 2011 Hall of Fame inductee. The 2013 title run was historic: the Ponies outscored their opponents 66-1 during the undefeated season.
