About Us
We're proud to be one of Maine's oldest and most uniquely forward-thinking high schools.
From our early days of bringing higher education to the state's pioneer families to our present-day Apple Distinguished School honors, and our designation as an International Baccalaureate Program School, we've come a long way since we were first established in 1823.
We were the first school in Maine to implement a 1-1 iPad classroom integration initiative, and we take pride in staying ahead of the curve when it comes to preparing our students for the demands of the global, connected workforce. Whether we're expanding our already expansive curriculum, or embarking on a dual-enrollment agreement with a local college: Our pioneering and innovative spirit just gets stronger with each passing century.
We embrace the truth that everyone learns differently.
We also know that no one journey to success after high school is the same. That's why Foxcroft Academy is proud to provide numerous pathways to career and post-secondary readiness, whether students are pursuing a 2 or 4-year college, the military, or the workforce after graduation.
Students at Foxcroft Academy can choose from more than 150 course offerings, including college prep, Advanced Placement (AP) and the globally-recognized International Baccalaureate® program. We've also forged many community partnerships and dual-enrollment agreements with Maine colleges and universities to ensure that our students have access to a world of learning experiences.
A small school with global possibilities.
Our location is far from ordinary, and exactly where you want to be.
